What to Expect:

BRAND NEW! –  PROGRESSING BALLET TECHNIQUE CLASS
We are delighted to be able to offer a brand new 1 hour  class in PBT for students (aged 10+).  This is a proven method to develop strength, alignment & technique specifically in dancers. Trusted by teachers worldwide for safer, more effective training, wishing to improve their student’s coordination, strength, flexibility and overall general health and well being.  This brilliant programme was specifically designed for dancers to develop their body conditioning, and is a fast-track method of improving a dancers technique, and a wonderful way for any student seeking to get fitter, gently exercise, tone and or rehab from injury.  Is also a lot of fun!  
It involves an exercise ball and some simple but effective movements based on pilates, yoga that will increase flexibility, coordination and muscle strength.

Instructors are qualified Dance Teachers, carefully selected for their expertise and experience within the industry and carry full enhanced DBS checks.

Students will gain strength, control, stamina, musicality, performance, presentation, confidence, increased posture and flexibility.

What to Wear
Shorts, or leggings you can pull up to your knee, a t-shirt or leotard.  Hair must be tied neatly away from face and jewellery removed.

Student Discount – am I eligible?

To be eligible for an 16+ student discount at Brighton Ballet School you must be aged 16 or over, registered with an education establishment and be :

A full-time student registered and studying on a higher education course with a university or college enrolled on a full-time course made up of at least 15 tuition-led and/or structured learning hours a week over at least 14 weeks

Receiving NHS bursary money*, either as a full-time student,

A full-time postgraduate student (for example, studying or writing up for 20 or more hours a week)

AND

Possess a valid NUS, or student card with at least 6 weeks of your course remaining.
