Grade 3 Ballet and Progressing Ballet Technique Class

What to Expect
This class will teach the basics of classical ballet technique whilst building strength, coordination and musicality in the dancer.
This is the ideal class for parents looking for a structured environment for their children to learn the foundations of ballet in a positive supportive setting. Previous experience not essential. Parents/guardians are permitted to watch first class, and then encouraged to leave their child thereafter.
Instructors are qualified Dance Teachers, carefully selected for their expertise and experience within the industry and carry full enhanced DBS checks.
Students will gain strength, control, stamina, musicality, performance, presentation, confidence, increased posture and flexibility whilst expanding their technical knowledge of classical ballet and repertoire.
This class includes a 30 minute Progressing Ballet Technique class, using fusion/exercise balls and bands. This fast-track body conditioning system is an excellent companion to aid a young dancers ballet training. Find out more at pbt.com
What to Wear
BBO branded lavender leotard, pink ballet shoes, pink ballet tights which can all be purchased from our school shop. Optional extras include leg warmers, wrap around cardigans, hair bands and hair packs. Hair must be tied neatly in a bun please.
THREE WEEK TRIAL SPACES AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS NEW TO THE SCHOOL.
Trials can start at any point during the term and must run consecutively for 3 weeks in a row
Trial fees must be paid for in full in advance
You do not need to purchase a uniform to take part in a trial space, however you will be required to purchase the school uniform including the BBO branded leotard if you wish to continue past your initial trial (which can only be purchased through the school shop)
You may only purchase a trial space once, and only if you are new Brighton Ballet School
Due to the nature of the pandemic and the constantly changing situation that unfolds on a daily basis this may change at short notice.
