Children’s Tap Dance – Beginners Level 

For children aged 8+ years

Starting : Saturday 10th June 2023
Time: 12:15 – 1:00 pm
Age : 8+ years
Venue : Dance Studio, BHASVIC Sixth Form College, Old Shoreham Road Hove, BN3 6EG
Weeks in course : 7 weeks
Please note – there are no classes on Saturday 9th & 16th July 2022 due to examinations taking place

What to Expect
This course is a great introduction to tap dance teaching the basic steps in a fun energetic environment.  Tap dance is a great way of keeping both mind and body fit and well, and is also a fun way of exercising!
No previous experience necessary.

Instructors are qualified Dance Teachers, carefully selected for their expertise and experience within the industry and carry full enhanced DBS checks.

Students will gain coordination,  control, stamina, musicality, performance, presentation, confidence, increased posture and flexibility whilst increasing their fitness in a fun socially interactive setting!

What to Wear
Tap shoes are a must!  You can purchase them through our school shop at very reasonable prices.  Leggings and trousers are ideal with a lose fitting t-shirt.  We recommend you also bring a bottle of water as it can get very hot and sweaty during a tap class!
