What to Expect
This class is an ideal starting point for those have done ballet before and wish to return as adults, or teenagers. Â We will take you through the basic and quickly move on to more complex movements through the course, following both free-work and syllabus content (based on Grade 4-6 level), whilst building strength, coordination and musicality.
Instructors are qualified Dance Teachers, carefully selected for their expertise and experience within the industry and carry full enhanced DBS checks.
Students will gain strength, control, stamina, musicality, performance, presentation, confidence, increased posture and flexibility whilst expanding their technical knowledge of classical ballet and repertoire.
What to Wear
BBS uniform : Black leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet shoes.
OR
T-shirt & leggings, socks on your feet.
Please try and tie long hair back away from your face, preferably in a bun!

Student Discount – am I eligible?
(Please note we will ask you to provide evidence of your student status)
To be eligible for an 16+ student discount at Brighton Ballet School you must be aged 16 or over, registered with an education establishment and be :
A full-time student registered and studying on a higher education course with a university or college enrolled on a full-time course made up of at least 15 tuition-led and/or structured learning hours a week over at least 14 weeks
Receiving NHS bursary money*, either as a full-time student,
A full-time postgraduate student (for example, studying or writing up for 20 or more hours a week)
AND
Possess a valid NUS, or student card with at least 6 weeks of your course remaining.
