- Pre-pointe preparation and strengthening
- Focused technical ballet training
- Preparation for vocational-level work and auditions
- Introduction to and study of elements of the BBO Dance Intermediate Foundation Ballet syllabus
The aim is to begin bridging the gap between ordinary graded classes and the greater technical demands of vocational ballet training.
A very small, focused class
This class will have very limited numbers and currently there are only three spaces available.Â
This allows us to work much more individually with each dancer, identifying areas that need strengthening and giving them the focused attention that simply isn’t possible within a larger general class.
What to Wear
Your child will need to wear their full uniform to each class with long hair in a tidy bun using pins and a bun net please.
For your initial trial sessions you do not need to purchase the uniform.
Please tie long hair back if possible and use a restraining strap if children need to wear glasses.
THREE WEEK TRIAL SPACES AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS NEW TO THE SCHOOL.
Trials can start at any point during the term and must run for 3 weeks consecutively.
Trial fees must be paid for in full in advance
You do not need to purchase a uniform to take part in a trial space, however you will be required to purchase the school uniform if you wish to continue past your initial trial (which can only be purchased through the school shop)
You may only purchase a trial space once, and only if you are new Brighton Ballet School
Parents are welcome to stay with their child during the initial 3 week trial, after which they will be asked to wait outside.
