Easter Dance Camp 

For children aged 6+  years

Dates :
Monday 19th April & Tuesday 20th April 2022

9.30 am – 10:00 Registration
10:00 – 4:00 pm Dance Camp Classes
There will be a short presentation of work at 3:30 – 4:00 pm for friends and family.

Venue : BHASVIC Sixth Form College, Dance Studio, Dyke Road/Old Shoreham Road, Hove BN3 6EG

What to Expect
A full fun packed day of dance for you child to enjoy including classes in Ballet, Gymnastics & Acrobatics, Contemporary Dance ending with a showing of work to Friends & Family.  No previous experience necessary. Children will be divided into groups based on age and ability. Please provide your own snacks and lunch for the day.

Timetable for day :
9:30 – 10:00     Registation
10:00 – 11:00   Ballet Class
11:00 – 11:15   Break & Re-fuelling!
11:15 – 12:15   Acrobatics & Gymnastics Class
12:15 – 1:00     Lunch Break
1:00 – 2:00       Contemporary Dance
2:00 – 3:30       Ballet & Recital Rehearsals
3:30 – 4:00      Demonstration for Friends & Family

Instructors are qualified Dance Teachers, carefully selected for their expertise and experience within the industry and carry full enhanced DBS checks.

Students will gain strength, control, stamina, musicality, performance, presentation, confidence, increased posture and flexibility whilst expanding their technical knowledge of classical ballet and tap dance.

What to Wear
T-shirts, leggings or shorts are just fine, or ballet/gymnastic attire if your child has it.  Please tie long hair back if possible and use a restraining strap if children need to wear glasses.
