Level of experience : Baby Ballet Ballet Class. This lovely class is for our littlest dancers aged 2.5 – 5 years old! In this class we will learn the basics of ballet through fun interactive games, involving props, dress up, toys and music.
For students aged between 2.5 – 5 years old. Previous experience not essential. One parent is permitted to accompany their child during the class but must wear a fast mask/covering at all times and socially distance as much as possible.
What to wear: It is essential that the appropriate attire is worn for the class you wish to take. Brighton Ballet School has a school uniform which is available for purchase through the school shop. Brighton Ballet School Teachers and their representatives reserve the right to refuse entry to any student who is deemed inappropriately dressed for the class they wish to take. The class consists of 30 minutes ballet, and 15 minutes tap basics including learning rhythms, time signatures and making a lot of noise with our feet!
Baby Ballet : Pink BBO ballet leotard with skirt attached which can be purchased at the class. Pink ballet shoes, pink ballet tights or pink ballet socks. Please ensure hair tied neatly away from face. We also sell pink headbands to keep fringes out of the way and for shorter hair! Tap shoes are ideal but don’t worry if you don’t have any. Any sturdy outdoor shoes will do.
Please familiarise yourself with the latest Covid-19 restrictions that BBS staff will be following before signing up for a class as these will need to be adhered to at all times.
