Brighton Ballet School Recital
July 2025
We would like to invite Students of Brighton Ballet School to take part in our Student Showcase as follows;
Sunday 20th July 2025
Venue : B&H Girls School, Montpellier Road Hove
Performers arrive : 12:00 pm
Doors Open to ticket holders : 1:30 pm
Compulsory Dress Rehearsal
Saturday 19th July 3:00-5:00
BHASVIC dance Studio
(the cost of this class is included in the participant’s fee)
Every student is encouraged to take part, whatever age or ability (including my adult groups!)
Class work and small groups/solos will be demonstrated at the theatre of Brighton & Hove Girls School.
Students will be required to wear their BBO uniform. If you do not have the uniform you will be required to purchase one.
Most groups will be provided costumes in addition to their usual class uniform.
Students from our performing troupe will be invited to perform their solos/duets.
There may be scope for other students to be invited to perform duets/solos.
Why do students taking part have to pay a fee?
The participation fee covers the overhead costs on the day such as hire of the theatre and staff, and dress rehearsal on Saturday 19th July. It does not cover the cost of extra private classes, or any other rehearsal classes that you/your child will be asked to participate in.
Tickets
Tickets will be on sale shortly once we have finalised all the details and will cost £8.50 per person. There are no discounts available for students, the unemployed, those registered disabled or their companions, group bookings, or children, (although children aged 1 years or under will not need a ticket but they will need to sit on their parents laps).
Refreshments will be available.
